Hey, everyone. It’s Rosie from R. Pierce Makeup. This week’s tutorial is going to be showing you some products for dry skin. I have dry skin and there aren’t many tutorials out there catered for those with dry skin. music There are so many people out there with dry skin and so many tutorials about oily skin, so I’ve picked out some of my favorite products in skincare and makeup. So I’ll start with a cleanser, and this is the Garnier, now I don’t know how to say it, Micellar Cleansing.
Water. Really similar to the Bioderma. L’Oreal do one as well, but you get more for your money with the Garnier one. And it looks like water, it feels like water on your skin, and just put it on a cotton pad and it removes your makeup really well. I would suggest doing it once with a cotton pad to get you makeup off and going over again just to get everything off. Because it is for sensitive skin, it’s not harsh on your skin, but it also means that it’s not quite as quick to take your makeup off as other things. Just a little.
Tip though, if you do have dry skin, stay away from face wipes. I used them for year. If you use a face wipe, your face then feels really tight. Because face wipes can be quite wet, if you cover your face in that and then leave it, your face doesn’t produce any extra oil because it feels like it’s already got the oil there, so it feels like it doesn’t need to produce any more moisture, which is why they can dry out your skin, they can be harsh on your skin, so I would just suggest moving away from the face wipes. Also, these.
Last way longer, and you could pick up one of these for the same price as a pack of face wipes and this will last you a load longer. It says 200 uses. I’m not sure it would actually last that long but it’s a lot better than 25 face wipes. Then my ultimate favorite dry skin product in the world, and if you watch my tutorials on my channel you’ll know this because I’m always talking about it, and again it’s Garnier, Moisture Match for Dry to Very Dry Skin. It’s a really heavy moisturizer but it doesn’t take ages to soak into your skin.
It just makes my skin feel so moisturized and it’s like a relief to put it on. Now this can be pretty tricky to get a hold of if you’re not in the UK, but I’ve checked on eBay and you can get it shipped over for about the same price as you would pay for this in the UK anyway. So if you’ve got dry skin and you’re really struggling to find a good moisturizer, I’d definitely go with this. This beats any of the high end moisturizers and it’s a fraction.
Of the price. If you are from the UK, it’s always on offer, and you can get it at supermarkets, you get it in Boots and Superdrug. Lots of people that have tried this after I recommended it agreed that it was awesome. But I always have really, really dry lips. Now it could just be because I don’t drink very often, don’t drink enough water. I never really feel thirsty. Or it could have something to do with having dry skin. I don’t know. That’s probably linked. It’s probably all linked. Anyway, so I always find the need to have.
A lip scrub, and these Lush ones are really good. This is a Popcorn one. I also have the Bubblegum one. The Bubblegum one I find is a little sweet, and the Popcorn one is a bit salty. So exfoliate your lips and then you can lick it off. And you can just wipe it off but I find it easier to lick it off. If you wipe it off, you tend to end up with crumbs all over your face, which is never good. They’re really affordable and they last forever, like.
I’ve got two Bubblegum ones and this one and I’m not even close to finishing any of them. This is definitely my favorite primer for dry skin and it’s the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Base. Now I think it might be called Lumi True Match or something in the States, and it’s just a luminous primer. So it comes out white and it’s, like, pearlescent, and then when you rub it into your face, you look like you’re quite shimmery. Not like thick chunks of glitter, just, like, shimmery. So you put it under your foundation and your foundation.
Just glows. It makes you look like your skin is just glowing. It’s amazing. It makes your makeup glide on and keeps your makeup on really well. This is really similar to Strobe Cream by MAC. Strobe Cream is slightly thicker than this one, but Strobe Cream is about 24 pounds in the UK and this is 10 pounds. I’ve got through quite a few tubes of this. I love this stuff, and I’ve heard people with oily skin love it as well, so it’s not just for dry skin. It’s really, really amazing. And to go with that, the L’Oreal Lumi Magique.
Foundation, called True Match Lumi, I think, in the States. This is also amazing. It prefer it to the True Match because I find the original True Match can cling to dry patches. This and this together, if you’ve got dry skin, this is just a beautiful combination. These two together will just leave your skin absolutely glowing. The other foundation I’m going to mention is a higher end one and it’s the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation. It’s water based, so you have to shake it up beforehand. It can be quite expensive. It is quite similar.
To the Revlon Nearly Naked but I much prefer this foundation to that one. It’s really, really light, so if I squirt it on my hand it’s like it’s quite runny and it runs off, but it gives a flawless, like it’s not heavy coverage but it just makes your skin look gorgeous, and I find it really hydrating on my skin, and I just, I really, really love it. I love the finish of it, it lasts really well as well. I absolutely love it. I think it’s about 30 something pounds, so it’s quite expensive, but I’ve had mine for about a year.
Now obviously I change up my foundation all the time, but I still have quite a bit left, so I will repurchase it when I run out. I love it. Then for concealer I’ve got, like, a high end one, and what I would consider a dupe for it. The high end one is the Clarins Instant Concealer. Now I’ve not heard anyone else on YouTube ever talk about this, and the only reason I know about this is because I used to work on a Clarins counter. It’s full coverage I would say, but I find it really hydrating. Because most full coverage concealers.
Can be quite thick, they can cake up under your eyes and look horrible and not work well for dry skin, because I have quite dry under eyes as well. This feels really moisturizing when I put it on, but it gives, like, flawless finish. 15 ml, which for a concealer is really good, and it’s about 15 pounds, so you’re really getting your money’s worth. This is going to last me so long. And then one I would say is pretty much the same is the Rimmel Match Perfection. When I put it on, it just feels the same. It’s really moisturizing,.
It gives good coverage. I really love it. The only thing I’d say is this is probably slightly lighter coverage than this one, but they both give the same kind of finish. It’s moisturizing. This one is about 7 pounds, so if you’re going to just try one out, definitely go for this one first. If you love it, you will definitely love the Clarins one. The Beauty Blender. Now you can get duper for this. I’ve tried loads of dupes and I don’t think any of them are worth the money apart from Real Technique’s one. Now even though.
It’s the most similar one I found, I still prefer my Beauty Blender, although I quite like the shape on this one. It’s quite good. Using a damp sponge is great for dry skin because you’re adding some of the moisture back into your skin. It can help your foundation stop looking cakey and gives a flawless finish, and I find it feels hydrating on my skin, so if my skin is looking super dry one day, then I’ll definitely use a damp Beauty Blender. These are amazing and definitely worth the money. Most people with dry skin stay away.
From powder, and I always did until I found one that I actually liked. And I don’t particularly use powder for making myself look matte, but what I use it for is because I want my foundation to last as long as it can possibly last. Especially if I’m working throughout the day, I’m busy, I don’t want my foundation to look minging at the end if the day. So my absolute favorite one I’ve found is the Revlon Nearly Naked. If you feel it it feels like flour, and they.
Are really finely milled so you don’t get big chunks of powder, and it never, for me anyway, clings to any dry patches. It just sets my foundation, it looks really good. I really, really love this. This is the best powder I’ve ever found for dry skin, and it’s pretty difficult to find one that doesn’t make you look powdery and dry. This one doesn’t. It just sets your foundation. It’s what I’m wearing now. I absolutely love it. That is all the products I’ve got to show you today. I do have some more dry skin tutorials on my.
Foundations for Dry Skin and Neck Cream FAQs
Bryan Barron Hi everyone. It’s Bryan with the Paula’s Choice Research Team here with another edition of Beauty Talk where we answer your questions. And this week I have a couple of questions from our Facebook fans. One wants to know about how to find a good longwearing foundation for dry skin. And the other question is about whether or not you need to use special products for the neck andor which products from your facial skincare routine are also suitable for use on the neck. So, let’s start with the first question which is from Cindy. Cindy says she needs.
A longwearing budge proof foundation for dry skin, but all she’s finding are those foundations for oily skin. She wants to know is she looking for a product that doesn’t exist. And, Cindy, I feel your pain, but yeah, you are looking for a product that doesn’t exist. One of the reasons that there are so few foundations that are really, really moisturizing and emollient for dry skin is because those types of ingredients, which feel great on dry skin, tend to interfere with the pigments in makeup causing them to oxidize and darken on skin. As you can imagine, not.
A very flattering effect. You leave the house in the morning with your nice dewy foundation looking perfect, matches your skin tone, no line of demarcation at the neck. A couple hours later you check yourself out in the mirror and you notice that your foundation is starting to look orange because of the oxidation issue. Surprisingly, cosmetic chemists haven’t come up with a good workaround for that. So, what you want to do in order to get longwearing results is you’re going to need to look at one of those foundations that would.
Really be optimum for somebody with oily skin, something that has a matte finish, something that really is going to be budge proof and to some extent even sweat proof, but the kicker or the tip is that you need to prep your skin with a really good rich moisturizer andor serum. And you can also mix the two of those together and then apply before you put your makeup on that isn’t really going to be all that moisturizing. So, you’re getting the moisture and the emolliency 020212 from your skincare,.
And then the tradeoff is that you’re using a foundation that really isn’t ideal for your skin type, but it’s going to give you the longwearing results that you want. Other thing is the ingredients that allow a foundation to wear for hours and hours without changing color and without moving, they are typically from a class of ingredients called dry finish solvents. So, what you’ll see on the back of the bottle would be ingredients like isohexadecane, isododecane, cyclopentasiloxane, nylon 12. Those are all good ingredients that create a silky texture and.
A nice longwearing budge proof finish. Next question, getting back to the neck, is from Kathy. And she says what parts of your skincare routine should you use on the neck And then what to avoid And then as a corollary to that, does anything meant for the neck really work So, Kathy, to answer the first part of your question it’s actually pretty simple. Anything that you apply to your face can and should also be applied to your neck. If you are using a wellformulated routine of skincare products for the face, take it down to the.
Neck. There’s not some imaginary line there that you just can’t cross or terrible things are going to happen. So, sunscreen in particular is vitally important. Think of how, I mean, unless you’re going around every day wearing a turtleneck up to here, your neck is always exposed. You’ve got to protect it from sun damage which is really about daylight damage, so even on a day when it’s not sunny, you’ve got to put that sunscreen on your neck. AHA and BHA exfoliants can go on your neck. You may find.
That the skin there is maybe a little bit more sensitive to those products. If that’s the case, adjust frequency of application, so maybe you’re only applying those to the neck once or twice a week, or maybe at night instead of morning and night like you would for your face. Serums can go on your neck. And moisturizers absolutely can go on the neck. So, do any of the products designed for the neck really work They don’t. At least not in the sense of products claiming to get rid of turkey neck, products claiming to lift.
A sagging neck. The neck itself has not nearly as much of the support structure to hold it in place as skin pretty much on any other area of the body, including the face. What that means, sad reality of life, is that for a lot of us the neck is going to show signs of aging often in a more pronounced way than the face. One more reason why it’s vitally important to keep up that sun protection and it’s never too late to start. So, I bought a jar of neck cream on Amazon for illustrative purposes.
This is the Reventin Neck Firming Cream. You may have heard of it, but I’m going to take a look at the ingredient list, which is on the bottom of the jar, and what I’m seeing here on this list, you’ve got your emollients, you’ve got your thickeners, you’ve got some plant oil, you have some plant extracts and the peptides. You’ve got peppermint oil, which is a skin irritant, but to the unsuspecting consumer you put a product with peppermint oil on your neck and you get that coolingtingling sensation. And you think, it’s working!.
It’s doing something remarkable for my neck. I am going to wake up looking gorgeous. Not necessarily the case. The point I’m making though is that the ingredients in neck creams rarely differ in any meaningful way from the ingredients in facial moisturizers. So, use your facial moisturizer, assuming it’s wellformulated, on your neck and you will be doing about as much as you can do between that, routine exfoliation, and sun protection. You’re doing as much as you can do via skincare to keep your neck in good shape. The rest has to be addressed via cosmetic corrective procedures, and even.
Those have limitations. Surgical procedures, such as a neck lift, are what really are going to make a difference. Not everyone wants to go that route, and you don’t necessarily have to do that at any point or not, but that’s the reality. I’d rather see you go that route than waste hundreds of dollars, and it can add up fast ,on buying a bunch of different neck creams or neck serums, or neck lifting whatever, hoping that one of them will finally work. And they won’t. All they really do is make your skin smoother and.

Softer Hands Heal Dry Skin Winter Skincare with Neutrogena Norwegian Formula
Hey guys, thank you so much for watching! Today, we’re going to talk about dry skin. If you follow me on Twitter, you know my sensitive skin has not transitioning into the winter months well at all. But my skin is almost back to normal now, and today we’re going to be focusing on hands. I guess it kind of also works into feet and other really dry spots like maybe your elbows or your knees, but the prime focus is hands. I always moisturize throughout the day, but lately my regular hand creams and lotions just have not been.
Cutting it. So I took to Twitter, and I asked you guys about some suggestions about hydrating your hands over the winter time. I got a lot of suggestions for butters and oils, but unfortunately those are the types of things that I can only really use like right before bedtime. Luckily, I had the most amazing product come to my door. Neutrogena, one of my favorite brands, actually send me this, which is their Norwegian Formula hand cream. This is no joke, no messing around. I mean, this is made for people that endure some of the harshest arctic conditions,.
So I was thinking, for me, maybe this will work. And, the best part, the biggest word on the whole package is fastabsorbing. They offered to sponsor a seven day challenge for me to see what this cream would do to my hands in seven days. And, I’ll be honest with you, the seven days are not over yet, but I wanted to make this tutorial anyway, because I instantly instantly fell in love with this product, and it has quickly become a part of my daily routine. And my hands are finally back to normal, if not, even better! So, here’s what.
I do. Open it up here. Mmmm. it smells so good. It’s like a really fresh, kind of a baby scent. It’s so yummy. And all you do is just take a tiny little amount, you don’t need that much at all. It has a really thick texture, but it slips, as you can see, really easily onto your hands. It just glides on. And it absorbs very very quickly. After a couple of seconds. Well, maybe a couple more seconds. Couple more seconds. Couple more seconds. This feels really nice. And, BAM. No oily, greasy film or anything. I can.
Go play with my phone. I can put on clothes. I can open door knobs, without fear of slipping right off. That is the worst when you’re putting on butters or oils or lotions. But, no, I can just go on about my day and about my business. That’s all I need. I use it in the morning, I use it throughout the day, I use it especially at nighttime. I also put it on my feet, and I don’t have to worry about ice skating across hard wood floors. I put it on my elbows and.
My knees. Oh, and also, hello, red and white packaging stocking stuffer. FOR SURE. You’re going to be seeing this again. I definitely do plan on doing some more winter skincare tutorials. I want to do how to take care of your lips. I want to do another winter skincare for your face. We’re in this together, even though I’m posting tutorials with tips, there’s definitely something that I will for sure leave out or other products that I don’t even know about yet or that maybe aren’t good for my skin, but they’re good for yours! So please.

DIY Body Butter for Dry Skin w HeyFranHey
What’s up, beautiful people It is your homegirl, Shameless, all up in your building! And I have a special guest! The beautiful, the wonderful, HeyFranHey! FRAN Hi, beautiful ones! MAYA For those of you that don’t know who she is, this beautiful woman has a popular blog and a youTube channel. Check it out, link in description box. But you’re known for. FRAN I am known for being sort of like a kitchen beautician. MAYA Oh! Kitchen beautician! That should be your tag! FRAN That’s kind of cute, right! But I basically can teach you how to whip up everything you need, from lotions, hair conditioners, to deodorant, straight from your kitchen,.
Straight from your pantry for affordable prices obviously easily accessible right in your kitchen. MAYA And I watch her tutorials and I’m like, ”can you just sell this stuff Because I don’t have time.” FRAN Right! That’s Maya’s comment all the time! ”Can you just make it for me!” MAYA I don’t have time. But it’s winter and my skin is super dry. And I actually do want to make a shea butter. FRAN Let’s make it! MAYA Let’s make it. MAYA So break it down, what’s all this FRAN So now that we have our butters that we’ve decided on becaue Maya wanted it to be super strong.
MAYA There’s like, a bunch ofshe has a bunch of butters. She has mango butter, aloe vera butter, and shea butter, but I just like the shea. FRAN Yeah, and cocoa butter. Really, there’s so many butters you can choose from. But Maya specifically said ”I want it to be shea based.” MAYA Shameless shea butter! FRAN And then when I told her about the aloe, how the aloe makes sure that everything is tied in together, she wanted to throw in for that double punch. So that’s why we’re using our 2 butters. She wanted it really creamy too.
MAYA I want creamy, because I’m really ashy. FRAN And you know, if you want it really creamy, then you add more butter. If you want it more whipped and kind of soft then you add more of the oils. So it’s up to you to kind of customize it, but Maya said she wanted it thick so we’re going to go with the shea butter and the aloe. Now for the moisturizing oils which is actually what’s going to go into your skin and get rid of the ash and make sure that it’s giving you the soft skin.
You have choices you can do coconut oil, you can do avocado oil, you can do olive oil, argan oil. We decided to do coconut oil because that’s Maya’s favorite. MAYA That’s Jackie’s. FRAN Yeah, this is actually Jackie’s jar. Adding the coconut oil to our butters and then jojoba oil is the oil that is closest to our natural oil. It kind of matches it. So if you have eczema or any kind of skin ailment, this will kind of replenish anything that’s missing. So this gets you soft, and this heals your skin from the inside out.
Then you have to decideoh wait! Actually no, not yet. I forgot, then we have vitamin e. Vitamin e how many of you have issues with stretch marks, or like I metioned the eczema, or justpeople get dry patches and rashes MAYA I do actually, I have some. FRAN Yeah, discoloration. FRAN There’s so many different ailments that peoplewell, that all of us suffer from. The vitamin e is a regenerator it will make sure that all of that will start healing from the inside out as well. So that, combined with the jojoba, tag team, beautiful skin, it’s exactly what you’re looking for.
Now you have to decide how you want it to smell. So this part is really up to you it’s not necessary to pick what we’re picking. Maya wanted something kind of warm and vanillaish. MAYA I picked vanilla, and then I got this stuff. It’s jasmine, rose, and seederwood. FRAN Yeah, I told her it smells like my grandma, but she likes it. Now we are going to throw all of it into our Ninja. Yeah, let’s blend the shea first. MAYA This is so funny. I feel like I’m on some sort of talk show.
FRAN We’re on the Oprah show! MAYA Oh! Shameless is a show girl! FRAN And then we are going to use a cup of aloe butter. MAYA I can imagine all these little kiddies watching your tutorials in their kitchens. FRAN Like, making stuff! Alright, so now let’s put in our moisturizing oils. We’re going to put in 14 cup of each oil. Want to do the honors and add that MAYA This is why I can’t be serious when I’m cooking in the kichen! Chef Shameless! MAYA And then I got some cinnamon, because.
That’s going to add like, some texture! She’s not with it. I change it up on them. FRAN Shameless DIY, I get it! MAYA She don’t know about this cinnamon! Look at that! It looks so cute! FRAN It’s like, bubbling! Nice and creamy, look at that! MAYA It will harden. FRAN Yeah, it will harden. I mean it always does. I’m going to take some. MAYA I want to eat it. But she said I would get indigestion. FRAN It smells so good! MAYA That’s it! That was really fast and fun! I think this is like, a good thing to do with friends.
FRAN And I love that Maya added the cinnamon because it added these cute little specks. It’s really cute! MAYA Looks like a chai latte. Winter ready! FRAN And it’s all clean. MAYA All natural. And made in my own home. FRAN And made in your own home, so you know what went in it, you know who handled it. And one last tip it’s nice to store it in glass, because a lot of the plastic jars and stuff are usually made with chemicals. And because your butter’s sitting in it you don’t know what’s seeping into the butter.
You know, buy these mason jars I actually bought a box of 12 mason jars. A box of 12, and I think I paid $10. MAYA From where, Amazon FRAN From Amazon! Yeah, it’s so cheap, it’s like a dollar each, really. MAYA That is it! Thank you! FRAN Of course! MAYA Yay! Everyone go check out HeyFranHey her channel is in the link in the description box. And she also has a tutorial, a detailed tutorial. FRAN Right, if you want to know more information on each ingredient and exactly what it does, then.
Korean BB Cream Review Showdown!
Open the Happy theme plays It’s the BB cream challenge! I’m challenging myself. That’s a pretty lame challenge. A lot of people have been asking me about BB creams and what’s it like What’s the best brand What should I buy I don’t know what to do! So I decided to buy six different BB creams ranging from, like a cheap brand up to an expensive brand, and I want to do a comparison today. These are actually Asian BB creams, not to be mistaken with the new American BB creams, which, I’ve tried some,.
And they’re kind of not good, guys. So the BB cream I purchased today to make sure that this is a fair fight was for moisturising your skin and for partial coverage so if you have dry skin, what I’m using today will be quite good for you. Coming in at the $13 mark is ‘Golden Aura’ by Tony Moly. This is the cheapest on the list. Next up is ‘Water Me Pls’ by Clio, and this one’s coming in at $14. We’ve got Etude House’s ‘Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit’.
And that comes in at $15. Next up is Missha’s ‘Signature Real Complete BB Cream’, coming in at $23.80 Skin 79’s ‘BB Super Blemish Balm Triple Function’ is coming in at $27. And the most expensive is Dr Jart Plus’ ‘Rejuvenating BB Cream’. This is Silver Label and it comes in at $29. So, what I wanna do is a comparison of the cheapest to the most expensive. I’m gonna actually just do a full split in half and I’m gonna come out here in the sunlight To see what it looks like in realtime lighting, and then we’re gonna see which one is my favorite.
In the end. Let’s go! OK, I’m starting with Tony Moly on the right, and Dr Jart on the left. The cheap versus the most expensive. OK, so twist off cap is simple. she hums to herself It actually absorbed pretty fast, so I might need a little bit more to actually put on. That’s how dry my skin is, guys! I’m not loving the container so far. It’s like squeezing out upsidedown toothpaste OK, one side. OK, Dr Jart time. Same kind of squeeze container, actually, as the other one. Whoa, this one is really thick.
OK, whoa! A lot whiter. OK, Let’s check them out in the sunlight. I will say that Dr Jart went on a lot thicker when I started to put it on, I kind of felt worried at first because it looked so white compared to my skin, but BB cream oxidises as you put it on, so that’s why you can’t look at a cream and say ‘Oh, it’s not gonna match my skin’, you have to actually put it on to see how it’s gonna look. This definitely has major coverage.
I feel like this part of my face looks totally flawless. But it does feel a lot heavier. Not like a foundation, heavy. Like a face cream or something. If you’re looking for just a light, basic coverage, then maybe this is good for you, but I don’t think it really covered up a lot of my dark circles Or, like, little pimples that were showing. So this is might require. like, another powder on top That can cover something up. So. Bigger coverage, Dr Jart is gonna win this one. But I don’t dislike Tony Moly, so.there you go.
And now to remove all of my make up and to start again. Oh boy. I feel like that scene in Zoolander, where Zoolander goes to work in the mines and he paints himself totally black to jump out and scare his father, and then he ends up removing all the black ink from his skin using cotton balls. it takes him forever. So I feel like I’m doing that right now. echoing Merman! Merman! water glugs And, I’m barefaced again. OK, I’m starting with the next most expensive one, which is the Skin 79, which comes in a very fancy container.
And then the second cheapest, which is the Clio Professional. I’m excited about this one because it says it has Shea butter in it, which I use on my body. I’m wondering if it’s going to be greasy or not. guitar riff First up Clio. It’s a lot, uh, smoother to put on than the Dr Jart one, which felt like it was oilier. OK, definitely could have used less because it feels like it spreads really well, while the other one’s kind of absorbed quickly, this one is just really good at spreading nicely.
It has kind of like a silky feeling, actually. OK, second one. I’m scared I’m going to, like, push really hard and it’ll go ‘blergh’ gunshot Eeeh! This one is a lot thicker again. OK, this is a perfume smell, that I do not like. I do not want my face to smell like my grandmother’s jacket. OK. I am almost immediately not liking this one, which is making me look really white and glossy. Let’s go check it out in the sunlight. OK, so the left side is the Skin 79, and I actually do not like it personally.
I thought that it smelt weird when I put it on, like rubbing perfume on my face, it, like, took forever to rub in and it looked really white and glossy and it’s just not my style. Especially considering it is the second most expensive on the list. Mmmm. And the other one is the Clio Professional, which I was really impressed by. I told you I was excited about the Shea butter, or the Sheya butter, or the Sheay butter, or however you say that. But it goes on almost, like silky.
It feels almost like a powder, so when you put it on, it just really spreads nicely. So, even though there is less in here than in here, I could have used less when I was applying this because it just spreads so evenly, while this one, I actually felt like I wanted to add more So, I’m going to say Clio was the winner in this one. Second cheapest. Like the second cheapest wine. My poor asskicked skin. OK, we’re down to the final two. Interestingly, they both look the same. Look at that! It’s really, like, the middles almost match.
Each other totally. I wonder if that’s a total fluke, or if they’re like ‘in case you can’t buy this one, you can buy this one.’ Let’s start with the Missha. pump clicks Erm..Guys. This isn’t good! pump continues clicking Does this like.have to be unlocked, or something or. Not looking good, Missha! Oh! Oh, finally! Alright, well I’m gonna dock some points for that right there. The forty minute, Martina trying to pump out something out edition. I have way too much on my hand because I had to triple squirt it out.
Oh no! So perfumey! Whoa! This one’s even stronger than the other one I was telling you about. OK, Missha’s perfume smell is actually killing me. That one’s Etude House. Pretty dripy actually. This one’s really thin. Like really, really light. It doesn’t feel like a heavy one in comparison to Dr Jart, which felt like I was applying serious coverage. This one feels almost like a light lotion and I could have used, like half. Do you see how much I have on my hands still Moneysaving wise, this one seems like you barely need to use any.
OK, to the sunlightmobile! Alright, Missha versus Etude House! I was extremely disappointed with Missha because the bottle wouldn’t pump. That’s pretty awkward. Oh, Missha! That’s a bad start for you. Also, it’s really perfumey, so if you want your face to smell like you walked through a department store and got attacked by a bunch of women sampling perfume, then go for the Missha. But, for me, I’m just immediately turned off by the smell. Even if it covers really well, I just wouldn’t buy this again because of that. The BB cream from Etude House, it went on really easily.
So the amount that I use like I used one pump was actually too much. I could have used half a pump but the coverage is not as heavy as, say, the Dr Jart one, which I thought covered perfectly. Like, fashionable supermodel one. I think if I was looking for an everyday one, I’d probably use the Etude House and the Clio one because I felt like the Clio had such an amazing finish, it felt so, like silky and smooth. And the BB cream from Etude House, I just really liked.
How lightly it went on, but it still covered. I already use Etude House to begin with, I actually do not use this particular one, but my persuasion over, and Clio, I’m definitely gonna be looking into because I really really like the Clio one. I think, if I’m gonna be spending money on something, I would go for the Dr Jart. I really like the way that the coverage looked, but it did feel like there was a lot of stuff on my skin. So I think if I’m having a really bad skin day, like maybe I’m especially pimply,.
Or red that day, I probably go straight to Dr Jart, but I don’t think I’d want it as an everyday cream. So, my top three choices $14, the $15 and the $29 one. It seems like the more expensive ones and the cheapest one, they are not for me. These two were way too perfumey. So, my question for you guys is If you use BB cream, what BB cream do you use, and why do you use it. Do you have oily skin Do you want heavy coverage Do you have light coverage What is it.
